From the restaurant’s sought-after window tables, watch the sunset on a summer evening or gaze at the city lights while savoring some of the best seafood dishes in Philadelphia. Whether a romantic evening for two, Sunday brunch or a special group occasion, XIX provides the perfect view of the vibrant city.
Crowning the top floor of The Bellevue, a national historic landmark, XIX provides a stylish setting that blends the building’s classic architectural elements with the latest in modern design. The unique balance of two 36-foot grand rotundas and floor to ceiling arched picture windows adds to an unforgettable dining experience.
Class symmetry is at work, as well as clean lines, an accommodating scale and a multifaceted application of materials, textures, and finishes. Inspired by a passion for cultural design and a quest for perfection, Marguerite Rodgers capitalized on the architectural elements and superior location of this cherished Philadelphia landmark, exceeding expectations in returning it to its original beauty with an updated and contemporary style.
Over 15 pieces of artwork, ranging from traditional watercolors to contemporary sculpture and glass, are displayed in The Bellevue Hotel’s XIX Cameo Room, Lounge and Pearl Room. Local artists and galleries have provided many original and valuable pieces to create the collection of unique exhibits now on display.
